If you buy a property and it doesn’t have a coherent style throughout, would you embrace that or would you renovate it so the rooms match?
Not completely matching but not walking into different rooms and feeling like it’s a different house.
I guess it depends on what you want to do with the property, whether you’re renting it out or living in it.
I can see having thematic rooms for a rental property, but I would rather have a coherent style for a home that I’m living in.
This kind of styling seems like it would be good for properties that are a lot bigger/more expensive than your average property.
Not necessarily to show off your money, but when you have quite an expansive property it makes more sense personally to theme different parts of the house cause it’s so big.
